You Can Make A Difference!
We diligently seek to attain as high a quality of life as possible for all of Greensboro’s older adults. The time and skills offered by our older adult volunteers are an essential resource for Shepherd's Center of Greensboro. They enrich our community with the fullness of their experience and serve as effective links between the past and the future.
There is great flexibility and opportunity for older adults to explore areas in which they have a special interest or skill, see a clear community need, or define a specific problem related to seniors. From leadership to specific hands-on service, from office administration to direct care, from educational instruction to newsletter mailing…there is something through which any senior may find personal satisfaction, social engagement, educational and spiritual lifelong learning. The opportunities for giving and receiving are limitless.
