transportation
to individuals living within the city limits of Greensboro. Trips are
limited to once a week for no longer than 2 hours. Common destinations include the grocery
store, bank,
post office and beauty shop.
Volunteer drivers provide non-medical transportation to individuals living within the city limits of Greensboro. Volunteer drivers must have a minimum of 10 years driving experience.

Riders must be at least 60 years of age or retired and have limited access to transportation. Requests for rides must be made 7-10 days prior to your trip by calling the Shepherd's Center office at 336-378-0766.

Inclement Weather Policy
The Shepherd’s Wheels Program is NOT operational in severe weather; both drivers and riders should note that Shepherd’s Wheels trips will be cancelled if public schools are closed. If schools are delayed, Shepherd's Center activities will operate as regularly scheduled (Monday-Friday 9:30am-3:30pm).
