Provide non-medical
transportation
to individuals living within the city limits of Greensboro. Trips are
limited to once a week for no longer than 2 hours. Common destinations include the grocery
store, bank,
post office, beauty shop or to visit a loved one in the hospital or
nursing home.
Volunteer drivers provide non-medical transportation to individuals living within the city limits of Greensboro. Volunteer drivers must have a minimum of 10 years driving experience.
Riders must be at least 60 years of age or retired and have limited access to transportation. Requests for rides must be made 7 business days prior to your trip by calling the Shepherd's Center office at 336-378-0766.

Inclement Weather Policy
The Shepherd’s Wheels Program is NOT operational in severe weather; both drivers and riders should note that Shepherd’s Wheels trips will be cancelled if public schools are closed or delayed.
