Life-long learning and enrichment opportunities are offered 3 times annually (winter, spring, and fall) for older adults age 60+ or retired. This 6-week series of classes takes place on Thursdays from 9:30am until 2:30pm. Fall and spring classes are held at First Baptist Church, 1000 W. Friendly Avenue while winter classes take place at Christ United Methodist Church, 410 N. Holden Rd.

You can create your own schedule by choosing from 1 to 3 classes for just $22. At midday, there is a quiet period of inspiration led by volunteers and a catered lunch is available at a cost of $6. Lunch reservations or cancellations are required by the preceding Monday morning. You are also welcome to bring a bag lunch and join any table for fellowship.

Inclement Weather Policy

Adventures in Learning Classes will be cancelled when Guilford County Schools are closed due to inclement weather. If the schools are delayed, Classes will continue as regularly scheduled. Tune to WFMY News 2 or visit www.digtriad.com for information on closings.
